A very pleasant surprise just off the hustle and bustle of the pantheon.
Nice sidewalk tables for some of the best people watching in Rome.
I had th carbonara and the signature pizza Margherita. Both were superb.
About 20e. So very reasonably priced. -

Ehh. We got in to Rome Sunday evening after a train ride in from Venice and lugging our bags 2 miles to the hotel. Wandered around and found this place rather quickly. It is very Americanized and they even have American breakfast (which I have been missing since being on this Eurotrip for 3 weeks now). The menu is diverse and even has burgers. We got the carbonara and the ravioli. I originally wanted the burrata ravioli but they were out of burrata (how is that possible in Italy?) so go their nightly special which had octopus on it. The octopus tasted like canned tuna and the ravioli were flavorless. Even the carbonara was subpar. It did not taste anything like the previous 2 carbonara dishes we have had throughout Italy. Also had the fried buffalo mozzarella which weren't very warm upon arriving to the table. Our sever was attentive and very nice but yeah, the food lacks flavor but if you're sick of Italian food, the burgers and fries actually looked pretty good from some of the people around that got them.

Wish I would have listened to my fellow yelpers and not come to this place. We came here for lunch and were super disappointed. I was going to order a Greek salad and then we were going to share a few items from their fried menu (we wanted something different then traditional Italian food as we had been here for a while). After waiting 15 minutes to order we were informed that their machine to fry things was broken but not to worry because they could still make French fries...... how?!? They must be frozen and microwaved then? Anyway I decided to just get the Greek salad and my husband got a burger. When we asked for some bread, they handed it to us in a bag.... are you kidding? If you are coming from the states the Greek salad is not what you expect. There are not pieces of feta, the dressing is a feta flavored dressing and the salad was pretty boring. My husband said the burger he got was pretty dry. Honestly wouldn't recommend.

We stopped in for a quick lunch while in the Piazza Navona area - we ordered a simple margherita pizza (the DOC version with basil and buffalo mozzarella) and were blown away by how good it was for a touristy place. It was actually the best overall pizza we had while in Rome, and pretty cheap at only 8.5 Euro. The service was fine, but we didn't really ask for much just ordering pizza and beer.
I do have to knock off a star due to the bathrooms - Rome seems to have an issue with restrooms either 1) being filthy, 2) missing paper towels / hand dryers and/or 3) only having cold water. Unfortunately, all 3 issues were present here. Not an absolute dealbreaker, but definitely took away from the meal. -

Cheese burgers are delicious! Meat taste lean and smoky, service is friendly. Not very expensive. For example, Olive Garden is twice as expensive than this restaurant but this places food is better.
It got my attention that the place for crowded with the locals.
